Our Inventory Management Specialistwill execute day to day operations in our stores back room and receiving area. They will be responsible for maintaining an organized back room with proper inventory levels. This will ensure excellent store in-stock conditions and will provide a memorable experience to all our customers. A Inventory Management Specialistis a self-starter and is always ready to learn. An Inventory Management Specialistcan work at a fast pace has a keen eye for safety and will be responsible for setting the store up for operational success.

Responsibilities

An Inventory Management Specialist is a responsible organized Team Member who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide support to all areas of the store which serves as the basis for successful store operations.

An Inventory Management Specialists responsibilities include

  • Receiving and unloading of merchandise ensuring quality count and condition.

  • Great organizational skills maintaining a neat and clean back room and dock area.

  • Processing vendor statements and bills on a weekly basis

  • Excellent communication skills with store team members and vendor partners

  • Supporting overall in-stock conditions through store operations and vendor support to enhance the customer experience

  • Ordering for various areas throughout the store and maintaining proper inventory control throughout the store.

  • Follow all Company Policies in order to reduce waste and unnecessary costs and provide increased profitability.

  • All other tasks as assigned

Desired qualifications include:

  • Friendly and customer service oriented. Interest in food a plus!

  • Grocery or similar experience desired

  • Self-motivated with a high attention to organization detail quality and presentation

  • Skills to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers

  • Ability to work independently effectively manage time and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to read understand and follow through on verbal and written directions

  • Ability to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy

Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:

Standing Sitting Lifting Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.) Pushing Keyboarding Telephone Use Walking Bending

Must be 18 years of age.

For Internal Transfers/Promotion Candidates:

  1. No disciplinary action during the past 6 months

  2. You may be asked to accept a part-time position if that is the only position available.

Compensation
