Job Description

We are looking for a Data Center Inventory & Asset Coordinator to support day-to-day logistics and inventory operations within a data center environment. This role is responsible for managing hardware inventory coordinating shipping/receiving activities and ensuring accurate asset tracking. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records in asset management systems (CMDB/ERP)
Perform cycle counts audits and inventory reconciliations
Manage shipping and receiving of hardware including proper documentation
Track inventory levels and ensure availability of parts tools and consumables
Coordinate with technicians and internal teams for inventory and logistics support
Arrange freight pickups and deliveries with carriers
Identify and escalate inventory discrepancies or shortages
Ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety standards
Support data center audit and compliance requirements
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
Comfortable using ladders and material handling equipment (pallet jack)
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling
Willingness to travel locally between sites if required
Ability to follow PPE and safety protocols
