Purpose:
Provides direct support to production lines. It ensures that the manufacturing process meets the validated parameters and the product meets the specifications. Supervises production partners to comply with production schedules in accordance with the Quality System health safety and environmental (EHS) requirements and company policies while ensuring that human resources machinery equipment and materials are used effectively and efficiently.
You will be responsible for:
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all federal state and local laws/regulations and Johnson & Johnson Corporate procedures and guidelines this position
Responsible for providing technical and leadership knowledge for daily manufacturing operations and ensuring that established metrics including production quality waste and cycle time are met.
It provides specific technical expertise to support special projects pilot operations product and process improvements and when required also provides information to develop capital expenditure forecasts and spare equipment/spare parts purchase budgets to support business needs.
Supervises production staff and collaborates with support departments to meet or exceed the goals and objectives of the Business Unit and in alignment with those of the plant and franchise.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with health safety and environmental policies and procedures; provides support to initiatives related to safety and ergonomics programs.
It ensures that manufacturing activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality System and makes efforts to improve the culture of quality and compliance.
Manages the effective and efficient use of human resources equipment and materials to optimize performance.
Supports awards and recognition programs participates in employee development acts as a mentor and promotes talent.
It drives Lean Manufacturing efforts including maintenance of performance metrics line balancing continuous flow manufacturing inventory reduction efforts and good ordering and cleaning practices.
Executes or monitors data capture on necessary systems such as JDE Kronos and others.
Supports process transfers and the introduction of new products
Executes validation-specific activities.
Coordinates communication activities with production partners
Identifies and supports the resolution of labor problems in coordination with the Human Resources department
Develops and maintains a culture based on the Creed.
Under general supervision it supports the investigation implementation and documentation of corrective and preventive actions to improve operational performance and to meet quality system requirements such as NCR CAPA audit observations and others.

Is responsible for coordinating and/or supporting the investigation implementation and documentation of corrective and preventive actions to improve operational performance and to meet Quality System requirements such as NCR CAPA audit observations and others
Carries out cost reductions year by year including improvements in productivity and in the reduction of defects
Plans executes and documents training and training programs for associates and ensures that you meet scheduled dates on time
Is responsible for communicating business-related matters or opportunities to the next managerial level

Qualifications / Requirements:
Education: Minimum professional career preferably in Engineering or in a related technical field.
Experience: From 4 to 6 years of experience as a production supervisor preferably / 3 years preferably in the medical industry preferably.
Knowledge in good manufacturing practices and documentation preferably in the medical industry.
Knowledge of the requirements of the Quality System
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Quality Control and Production Control
Practical knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Office the ERP system)
Good leadership and teamwork skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to make customer-centric decisions
Proven initiative creativity and assertiveness
Basic understanding of health safety and environmental (EHS) standards
Basic knowledge of Mexican labor standards
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
