Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do in This Role
You will perform multiple production floor and engineering activities following established guidelines and policies including:
- Define update and implement manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain process documentation such as:
- Process flow charts
- AMEF (PFMEA)
- Visual aids
- Work instructions (as controlled documents)
- Design and implement poka-yokes fixtures and tools for assembly lines considering ergonomics and operator safety.
- Analyze assembly line capacity to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Define and manage manufacturing routings providing data to be uploaded into SAP.
- Lead and support continuous improvement (CI) projects focused on KPI optimization.
- Follow up on CAPA activities ensuring timely closure.
- Update assembly layouts based on production changes.
- Ensure compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.
- Partner with Indirect Purchasing for quotations expense tracking and PO follow-ups.
- Identify and document design issues proposing and implementing improvements on the production floor.
- Participate in scheduled training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in PLC programming (basic to intermediate level):
- Allen Bradley
- Siemens
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Solid understanding of electrical concepts.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience in production environments.
- Advanced English proficiency (required).
