Context
Within the CS Interfaces and Integration team the IS Interfaces Coordinator ensures the consistency quality and sustainability of data exchanges between information systems (IS) and all internal and external project stakeholders. They oversee the full interface lifecycle (design implementation and evolution) and act as the central point of contact for technical teams.
Missions/Main Duties
- Leading and coordinating technical interfaces between IS by organizing and facilitating information flow across systems.
- Driving cross-functional coordination of IS/third-party interfaces by leading workshops with other contracts (civil works rolling stock and others).
- Organizing and facilitating collaboration between IS technical teams and stakeholders.
- Ensuring the consistency and application of the interface process by IS technical teams from requirements gathering to production deployment including change management.
- Maintaining the interface register/matrix dependencies versions and associated configuration of Interface Sheets (IS).
- Representing the CS Interfaces and Integration team on IS interfaces in meetings project reviews and technical workshops with stakeholders.
- Contributing to interface planning (schedule critical path) and risk management and proposing and executing corrective and preventive actions.
- Contributing to the drafting and review of procedures specifications and other documents related to IS interfaces.
- Monitoring the production of Interface Sheets in coordination with technical teams.
- Ensuring clear and regular communication with stakeholders clarifying responsibilities (RACI) and arbitrating priorities in the event of conflicts or critical dependencies.
- Contributing to the definition of the IS testing strategy (platform and on-site).
- Coordinating IS validation during testing phases.
- Contributing to defining IS requirements.
- Ensuring data quality within the digital interface management tool.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the interface management process.
Profile/Skills
Education: Degree in computer electrical systems engineering or a related field.
Years of experience: 4 years in a similar role or within IS. Experience in rail tram metro or infrastructure projects is an asset.
Technical competencies:
- Solid knowledge of distributed IS virtualization IP networks and SCADA/BMS (redundant architectures I/O).
- Experience coordinating complex systems (transportation automation mobility).
- Knowledge of interface management processes.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools configuration management technical documentation and defect/issue tracking tools.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills both in French and in English.*
