Job Summary


Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and passed ParaPro/Para Educator testing(or 60 college credits) required.
A successful background check is required.

Prefer experience working with children.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Patience flexibility love for children confidentiality teamwork self-starter takes direction easily excellent communication skills behavior management skills assist in the classroom and in special education classroom.

Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion respect responsibility self-discipline and honesty.

Specific Tasks:
Work with students throughout the day assisting with behavior and academics. Refocus the student in the classroom de-escalate negative behavior recognize and acknowledge positive behavior and work cooperatively with the classroom teacher and Special Education staff. Hours Per Day:
6.5 hours/day

Long term subsitute position from approx. 3/23/26 - 6/4/26 end of school year.
As percontract
