Job Summary

  • Located in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available
  • Clerk Grade 9/10 salary ranges from $129464 to $142665 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

As the Lead Product Manager you act as the bridge between the business and technical team to ensure key enterprise service management products deliver measurable value for schools and enable high-quality service delivery across the department.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the full product lifecycle from concept through to user acceptance testing delivery and continuous improvements
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to translate user needs into practical product solutions
  • Maintaining a customer-focused approach to driving product adoption and ensuring teams are equipped to deliver excellent customer experiences by developing and delivering wholistic training and support
  • Identifying platform capability gaps using data insights and user feedback and create product roadmaps and enhancements to improve customer experience
  • Ensuring products meets accessibility privacy and data governance standards
  • Driving cross-functional change control forums to review requests for product change.

About you

You are an experienced strategic and forwarding-thinking Lead Product Manager who brings a strong customer-centred approach across all stages of product lifecycle ensuring meaningful value for schools and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Hands-on experience leading end-to-end product lifecycle for enterprise platforms
  • Experience working with products or platforms such as ServiceNow or similar
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear information and guidance for business users
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify product improvements
  • Ability to influence negotiate and advocate for the customer experience while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships and managing competing priorities and expectations.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience acquired through a combination of education training and professional practice.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires as long as you remain in a nonchild-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
