You will respond to alarms document activity using a computer and/or tablet and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures campus policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings residence areas common spaces and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions ID checks as required by site policy and reporting of suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting campus partners and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities patrol observations and incident response and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
