Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians with a passion for their craft to support the installation of fire alarm systems on large commercial projects. This role involves hands-on installation of fire alarm devices and cabling primarily working day shifts with regional travel required for 34 weeks at a time in a company vehicle after completing orientation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm devices on large commercial sites.
  • Pull route terminate and label low-voltage cabling.
  • Install panels detectors pull stations Fire alarm Horns Fire alarm strobes panel upgrades and test and inspect fire alarm systems.
  • Experience and confidence in installing and troubleshooting Glass breaks light up exit signs
  • Read and follow drawings layouts and installation plans.
  • Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of installed systems.
  • Follow all job-site safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain clean and professional work areas.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience installing Fire Alarm systems.
  • Experience working on large commercial projects.
  • Ability to travel regionally for 34 weeks at a time.
  • Ability to work day shifts.
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with systems such as Notifier Simplex Edwards Fire-Lite Bosch Honeywell EST Edwards panels and devices Gamewell or DSC.
  • NICET certification (NICET I or NICET 2 or Higher) (Fire Alarm)
