Pay Rate: Starting at $25/hour
The Equipment Coordinator ensures the delivery of ongoing exceptional customer service and helps maintain order in inventory and shipping/receiving systems. The Coordinator ensures all MISTRAS rope access technicians and the operations team are well supported with the equipment and materials they need to work efficiently and safely in the field. The overall goal of this position is to support internal operations and help our business successfully grow.
This position reports to the MISTRAS Reno office on 40-hour work weeks (ideally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with some flexibility). The Lead Equipment Coordinator reports to the General Manager for the MISTRAS Reno office but also works closely with the Equipment Sales Manager Program Managers Senior Field Supervisors Team Leaders and other MISTRAS team members.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
- Performs regular maintenance and inspection of services equipment
- Continual process and system review and improvements
- Receives packs and ships equipment for jobs and traveling training courses
- Assembles equipment kits documents and enters the tracking tools in web-based portals
- Manages annual physical inventory count and related inventory maintenance tasks
- Tool and equipment purchasing
- Cleans equipment and soft goods as needed to prepare it for service-ready condition
- Coordinates facility maintenance and organization
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of the rope access industry and the tools/materials involved. A current IRATA or SPRAT certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented business and warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain order and discipline in all areas of responsibility
- Able to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions equipment packing lists and other specifications accurately
- Ability to multi-task prioritize efforts and meet deadlines consistently
- Familiarity with or ability to use Microsoft Excel Google and other common business software
- Personable safety conscious positive and adaptable
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance and stand for extended periods. Other physical requirements can be supplied upon request
- High school diploma or GED is required. Additional academic preparation relevant to this position is desired
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
