Job Summary

SENIOR MANAGER MARKETPLACE SALES ECOMMERCE

We are seeking a highly accomplished and proactive Senior Manager to lead our Marketplace Sales E-commerce initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in B2B sales AI data analytics and digital transformation services within the e-commerce landscape. This is a critical role focused on driving growth and enhancing our market presence.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for marketplace sales to drive significant revenue growth within the e-commerce sector.
  • Leverage AI data analytics to identify market trends customer insights and sales opportunities translating data into actionable sales strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and achievement.
  • Manage key relationships with e-commerce marketplaces ensuring optimal product visibility and sales performance.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals with a strong focus on B2B sales.
  • Drive sales of digital transformation services advising clients on leveraging technology to enhance their e-commerce operations.
  • Collaborate with marketing product and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics analyze results and implement adjustments to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce trends competitor activities and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
  • MBA/PGDM or equivalent postgraduate degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 15 years of progressive experience in e-commerce sales with a strong emphasis on marketplace management.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales demonstrating success in acquiring and managing enterprise clients.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical application of AI data analytics for sales forecasting customer segmentation and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling Digital Transformation services and solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and sales management tools.
