Job Summary

Location: Ahmedabad

Design optimize and secure complex network environments lead incident response for critical outages and drive infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education - Masters degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent field experience

Experience - 6 years or more CCNP/CCIE JNCIP/JNCIE F5-CA/PCNSE/Fortinet NSE4-7 certification preferred

Must have strong written and oral communication skills

Advanced knowledge of Network Engineering concepts like TCP/IP with a focus on Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking

Deep understanding of networking protocols like BCG OSPF EIGRP VLAN WLAN QoS MPLS

Proven experience in switching & routing firewall management and wireless networking (Juniper Cisco Arista Palo Alto Fortinet) Strong understanding of network protocols troubleshooting skills and experience with network monitoring tools

Experience with firewall configuration and VPN setup.

Hands-on experience in maintaining and configuring Wi-Fi networks (Access Points Controllers etc.)

Good knowledge about IP management IPv6 VLSM and load balancers (F5 Citrix)

Basic Knowledge of Linux OS is preferred

Experience with Network Automation tools (Python Ansible Terraform) is a plus

Must have a collaborative attitude with good leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable complex and high-availability enterprise network infrastructures (LAN SD-WAN WLAN)

Provide escalation support and training to L1/L2 teams to build technical proficiency

Manage large-scale network changes and lead critical incident resolutions

Optimise and troubleshoot existing network infrastructure

Evaluate recommend and integrate new network technologies

Lead major incident bridge calls and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Conduct root cause analysis and serve as the final escalation point for complex network issues

Manage and optimise routing and switching environments (BCG OSPF STP VXLAN) Oversee Firewall policies and security controls to ensure effective security (Juniper Cisco Palo Alto)

Maintain VPN infrastructures (IPSec SSL DMVPN) and SD-WAN platforms

Monitor network health using tools like SolarWinds PRTG etc

Analyse performance trends and proactively resolve network bottlenecks

Develop and maintain network diagrams Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and configuration documentation.

Participate in internal/external audits and technical reviews.
