Job Summary

OutSystems Developer (with Oil & Gas Domain Experience)

Location: Calgary AB

Required Experience & Background:

University degree certification or equivalent experience in software development Minimum 5 years working on lowcode development platforms At least 3 years specifically with OutSystems Experience leading teams of 34 members Domain Knowledge: Understanding of Oil & Gas sector (upstream midstream downstream) Strong understanding of midstream processes

**Technical Skills**

Core OutSystems Skills

Strong proficiency in OutSystems 11 Integration Studio and Service Studio Experience building Reactive Traditional Web and Mobile applications Experience implementing UI using OutSystems UI custom CSS and JavaScript

Programming & Front-End:

Proficiency in JavaScript CSS HTML

Experience with React Native or similar mobile frameworks

Database & Integration:

Strong SQL skills (MySQL Oracle SQL Server) Designing/managing entities relationships indexes Writing and optimizing Aggregates and SQL queries Understanding of data integration: REST/SOAP web services SFTP data formats/encoding

Additional Technical Knowledge:

Application security (SSO authentication permissions) Exposure to software development lifecycles (design build release testing) Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions) Understanding of C for custom extensions

**Responsibilities**

Requirements & Stakeholder Interaction:

Collaborate with stakeholders to document business needs and constraints Facilitate communication across teams for alignment and timely updates Participate in requirement and design sessions to identify gaps and ensure standards alignment Produce and maintain documentation (business processes decisions integration designs compliance reports)

Solution Design & Development:

Design and implement OutSystems web and mobile applications Ensure alignment with corporate policies and security standards Develop business logic using server actions client actions and integration components Troubleshoot and resolve solution issues

Collaboration & Agile Participation:

Work closely with business analysts UX designers QA and architects Participate in sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives Provide training and support to end users
