Job Summary
The Senior Software Developer will design develop and maintain enterprise applications by translating technical specifications into high-quality tested solutions. The role involves full software development lifecycle participation troubleshooting and post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities - Translate technical specifications into functional applications
- Develop detailed programming specifications
- Write test and maintain high-quality code
- Perform unit testing and support system integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesProvide support for implementation migration and conversion activities
- Participate in design walkthroughs and technical reviews
- Provide post-implementation support and documentation
- Strong experience in programming and systems analysis
- Proven experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Expertise in designing coding testing debugging and documenting applications
- Experience with modern design patterns and deployment strategies
- Strong knowledge of relational and hierarchical databases
- Experience with query languages and data retrieval tools
- Familiarity with communication protocols
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills
- Excellent problem-solving communication and teamwork abilities
- Java: 10 years
- JavaScript: 10 years
- Oracle (12c or higher): 10 years
- Angular (v2): 5 years
- React: 5 years
- TypeScript: 5 years
- HTML5 / CSS: 5 years
- SQL & Database Objects: 5 years (tables views procedures triggers etc.)
- WebSphere (v8.5): 5 years
- Bitbucket: 3 years
- Azure DevOps: 3 years
- AODA / WCAG 2.0 AA compliance: Required
- Experience with responsive web applications
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of architectural styles (event-driven reactive message-oriented)
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) customization and impact assessment
- Experience with AR AP GL Collections and Inventory modules
- Strong PL/SQL SQL XML and Unix shell scripting skills
- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) experience
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS table structures (GL AR AP INV FND)
- SQL performance tuning and partitioning
- Data warehousing ETL processes and OBIEE
- Experience with Java and Oracle ADF (asset)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Proven collaboration and stakeholder management
- Ability to meet deadlines in a team environment
