Job Summary
Our Client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Java-based enterprise systems to work on large-scale public sector applications. This role involves end-to-end development integration and modernization of cloud and legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain web-based n-tier and cloud applications
- Work on Java (WebSphere JDBC Oracle DB2 DataPower) and modern stacks (Spring Boot Angular/React)
- Build and integrate APIs and microservices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements
- Prepare technical specifications test plans and implementation strategies
- Support testing (UAT regression performance) and production releases
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide system support
- Participate in design testing and requirements walkthroughs
- Contribute to DevOps pipelines (CI/CD Jenkins)
Must-Have Skills
- 7 years of Java development (WebSphere JDBC Oracle DB2 JavaScript JSP)
- 5 years integrating Open Source Software (OSS) into enterprise systems
- Experience with Spring Boot Angular/React and cloud environments
- Strong experience with APIs and microservices architecture
- Solid knowledge of relational databases (DB2 Oracle MS SQL)
- Experience in Agile DevOps and CI/CD (Jenkins)
Nice to Have
- Experience with IBM Cloud Pack for Business Automation
- Exposure to large-scale public-facing systems
- Public sector experience (Ontario preferred)
