An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Teacher of French to join a highly regarded independent girls school in Cambridge. About the Role

As Teacher of French you will teach across KS3KS5 delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that build fluency accuracy and cultural understanding.

You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

  • Confident speaking and listening through regular structured conversation

  • Strong reading and translation skills using authentic texts and media

  • Accurate written communication supported by grammar and vocabulary development

  • Cultural understanding of the French-speaking world

  • Exam confidence through modelling purposeful practice and precise feedback

Students explore a wide range of topics connected to French-speaking cultures and global issues helping them develop both linguistic competence and cultural awareness.


The Languages Department
