Role: Contracts Analyst Contract Delivery

Location: Hybrid working (remote working with travel to Winnersh/Bristol/UK supplier sites)


Summary of Role:

Raytheon UKs Training Transformation Business has a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Analyst to join our growing team. The Training Transformation team delivers a wide range of programmes in Training Integration Training Equipment Training Delivery and Training Simulation.

This role will join the Commercial team in a flagship programme delivering cutting edge technology to one of Raytheon UKs most strategically important UK MOD customers.

The programme itself comprises of supply of a series of training devices and courses modification of existing training and adopting a new approach to crew training for the one of the most strategically important new naval platforms.

Main Duties:

  • Support commercial elements of the programme including customer relationship
  • Deliver value to the business and be an enabling function for programme success
  • Support and deliver commercial solutions in support of proposals and customer requirements together with administration of company due diligence activity
  • Supporting the identification and managing of contract change throughout the contract life cycle to maximise opportunities and reduce risks to performance
  • Support programme and bid financial performance with a multi-functional leadership team
  • Support the production of business cases/briefing materials for management reviews
  • Support the business finance function to manage the invoicing and cash collection process
  • Participation in cross-functional improvement activities
  • Understanding of export controls and other compliance requirements including GDPR Government classifications etc

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

  • An ability to respond to tasks with tenacity and flexibility whilst working cross functionally in a multi-disciplinary team
  • An ability to remain calm under pressure and collaborate with others
  • An eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communications combined with a flexible and positive attitude
  • Self-motivation and independent working
  • Good problem solving capability
  • Experience of Commercial Agreements ideally in the Defence Cyber Training or Aerospace Industry
  • Understanding of Contract Management and Procurement principles
  • Experience of Customer Relationship Management
  • Business/Legal degree or equivalent experience
  • A willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the UK


Desirable:

  • Awareness of Data Protection and other relevant commercial and contract legislation
  • Attendance at customer and supplier meetings in support of supervisor
  • Familiarity with business process management tools (IPDS SAP or similar) and the competitive bidding process
  • Knowledge of import/export legislation
  • Knowledge of programme financial management and how to apply that to risk and opportunities
  • Experience of Contract Management delivery ideally with UK MOD customers
  • Awareness of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations (DSPCR).
