Job DescriptionTo provide support to the HR Manager (Corporate) through implementation or administration of HR initiatives for day-to-day transactional tasks. Assist with any front office HR requirements like recruitment and selection representation at disciplinary hearings and CCMA any and all employee administration and onboarding. Assist with the operations of current HR Information System and interfaces with other systems and vendors.
- Provide an effective recruitment and selection service to line management from conceptualising and understanding the role through to assisting with selection decisions; ensure compliance with relevant organisational processes and labour legislation in this regard
- To ensure that the organisation is staffed with appropriately qualifies skilled motivated and informed employees
- Advise line management and staff on employee relations issues implement and coordinate disciplinary and grievance resolution processes and assist with consultation processes as required ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Provide guidance and support to HR Administrators with regards to any relevant employee documentation for monthly payroll processing
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of employee information on the HR Information System to allow for accurate monthly reporting
- Coordinate EE/SD Forum meetings and provide administrative support
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager when assessing and advising on EE targets and plans as submitted to Department of Labour.
- Ensure general HR administration is completed accurately and timeously through effective time management or delegation to HR Administrators as appropriate
- Coordinate the administrative and consultation processes for the employee life cycle from on-boarding to exit of employee
- Ensure the successful implementation of HR Projects plans and strategies
- Implement HR policies and procedures in the rendering of HR services
- Monitor and maintain with operations of the Sage People System and the interfaces with other systems
- Ensure HR systems support all HR process requirements
- Responsible for the weekly and monthly reports from the HR Systems
