- Salary relative to experience and ranges from $113574.00 to $125720.00 (Clerk Grade 7/8)
The role
This Policy Officer works in the heart of OSEC and is responsible for helping policy work move smoothly across the department and government digging into issues to make sense of emerging risks and turn complex information into clear practical advice for senior leaders and Ministers. Youll be trusted with keeping things organised from producing Cabinet advice coordinating submissions as they progress through the Cabinet process and supporting other wholeofdepartment actions.
You will be challenged with managing competing priorities in a fastmoving environment where issues can be politically sensitive. You will need to stay connected to stakeholders anticipate problems before they land and keep policy initiatives on track. Its a role that relies on curiosity adaptability and the ability to bring people together to shape solutions that work.

What you will bring to the role
