The Senior Director of S.O.U.L. Mission provides strategic leadership and oversight for all program initiatives ensuring alignment with university and athletic department goals. This role is responsible for developing and implementing financial literacy programming career development initiatives and professional mentorship opportunities for student-athletes. The Senior Director manages internal operations budget planning and compliance while also serving as the primary liaison between the program university leadership and external stakeholders. Additionally this position fosters partnerships to enhance student-athlete development evaluates program impact and represents S.O.U.L. Mission at recruiting and department-wide events.
Essential Functions:
- Leadership & Strategic Oversight:
- Provide leadership for all S.O.U.L. Mission programs ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Lead development and execution of financial literacy programming
- Develop and evaluate educational initiatives such as Lunch N Learns career & professional development programs resume workshops and interview preparation sessions
- Oversee the development and candidate selection process Micro-Internship Program business networking trips and professional mentorship programs
- Serve as the key liaison between the program university leadership and external stakeholders
- Operations & Compliance:
- Lead S.O.U.L. Mission internal operations and weekly staff meetings
- Oversee SO.U.L. Mission budget planning
- Coordinate and manage program compliance and university administration relations
- Organize and facilitate quarterly board meetings
- Player University & Family Relations:
- Represent S.O.U.L. Mission at all recruiting events
- Represent S.O.U.L. Mission at department-wide meetings serving as a key liaison between the program university administration and external stakeholders
- Attend department-wide staff meetings to stay informed of university and athletic department initiatives providing relevant updates on S.O.U.L. Mission programs and impact
- Program Development & Impact Analysis:
- Establish partnerships with businesses and organizations to enhance student-athlete development opportunities
- Oversee structured class meeting programs for player growth
- Develop and analyze and report program impact providing data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Advocate for student-athlete development initiatives at the university level
