Job Summary

Job Title : Database Administrator (SQL Server Azure SQL Performance Optimization)

Location: Albany NY Onsite

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience installing configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server (versions) in enterprise environments.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective industry-standard SQL solutions that support organizational objectives.
Experience designing implementing and maintaining High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions within Windows Clustered environments including support for SQL Server Failover Cluster Instances.
Strong experience in SQL Server performance tuning and optimization including monitoring query optimization and system performance improvements.
Experience supporting mission-critical public safety applications for government agencies operating within SQL Server database environments such as departments related to Corrections Criminal Justice Homeland Security or Police Departments.
Experience installing configuring and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI Report Server including scaled-out deployments.
Experience installing configuring and troubleshooting SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages (versions) including resolving package execution and connectivity issues.
Proficiency in database scripting and automation using T-SQL and PowerShell.
Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Azure SQL environments.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
