Job Description

The Data Developer leverages big data to create intelligent data products that enable quality decision-making across the organization

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Work as a core member of the Data & AI team to ensure the success of the team and the company. The team is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of clients proprietary cloud-native Data & AI platform
- Develop and implement intelligent data products such as visualisations models and insights to provide data-driven recommendations for various departments within the organisation
- Incorporate self-service analytics in data products to empower end users and enable them access and analyse data independently
- Consult with stakeholders to identify opportunities to use big data and advanced analytics to drive value for the organisation
- Collaborate with data engineers IT and vendors to simplify data accessibility collection and curation by developing and implementing data and system architectures
- Document work and new procedures to ensure that others can interpret and replicate the work
- Support data cleansing and transformation to ensure data is correct reliable and stored effectively
- Build and manage permission for shared datasets
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve data discrepancies between source data and target dashboard
- Deliver consistent accurate and high- quality work while communicating findings and insights in a clear and compelling way

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI with a strong technical understanding
- Experience with Power Apps is a plus
- Strong technical skills in data and database management with proficiency in data wrangling analytics and transformation using Python SQL and Power Query
- Proficiency in visual storytelling through data visualisation
- CFA Level 1-3 certification or a good understanding of asset management would be an advantage although not mandatory
