About the Role

You will manage a team of technical experts who optimize the customer projects with regards to performance and stability. Bridge the gap between the development teams to ensure the highest quality project deliveries.

Your Team

Your team is made up of 30-100 System Engineers incl. Management layers where applicable (depending on region and Project needs).



What You Will Do

  • Staff and manage a team of technical experts focused on the overall performance and stability for all projects in scope for the SBU in Region (either America or Europe or APAC).
  • Own the implementation of the project KPIs
  • Responsible to meet the overall stability criteria defined by HARMAN for the project in the project PRD.
  • Own bridging the gap between development teams by providing hands on technical leader in solving complex multi-faceted technical issues.
  • Interfaces with the customer on systems level issues to clarify and define the optimal solution.
  • Responsible for career growth and technical skills enhancements for all development staff.

What You Need

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
  • 15 years of overall professional experience in development and delivery
  • 10 years of Experience in automotive project development.
  • 5 years in leading multi-national teams/resources
  • Proven expertise in developing complex systems from architecture to implementation
  • Proven ability to lead mentor and grow diverse teams

What is Nice to Have

  • Masters Degree in Engineering MBA

  • Be willing to travel up to 30% domestic and international travel
  • Be willing to work in an office in North America/Europe/APAC depending on regional responsibilities.
