Intensive Care Unit Technician

We are seeking enthusiastic part-time technicians for the 26-bed Intensive Care Unit at Epworth Richmond focusing on patient care equipment handling and transport services.

To be successful in this role

You are flexible and able to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday. You demonstrate strong engagement diligence and motivation in your role supported by effective problemsolving skills. You adapt well to changing needs and are capable of providing maintenance and troubleshooting within the intensive care laboratory to ensure smooth and safe operations.

You will have:

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
• A strong focus on positive customer service and behaviour
• Experience in set up equipment
• Advising and training medical staff on the use of equipment
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
• Ability to use computer systems
• Maintenance of safety standards throughout all activities to ensure compliance with OH&S guidelines

The annual salary range for Instrument Technicians AUD $59014 to $68561 super entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part-time).
