A well-funded high-growth AI-powered enterprise SaaS platform client of ours is looking for a contract Technical Recruiter to support their Engineering Product and Design organization. The company is a recognized leader in the cross-channel customer engagement space powers communications for global household-name brands and is in active engineering growth mode across the US and internationally.
This is not a generalist role. You will own 68 engineering requisitions across roughly three skillsets structured deliberately so you build deep talent pipelines rather than sprint on one-off searches. You will work directly with a Head of Talent who values calibration submission quality and a recruiter who genuinely understands the code they are hiring for.
What Youll Own
- Full-cycle technical recruiting for backend engineering roles (Scala-primary stack; Java Python and backgrounds also in scope)
- AI/ML engineering hiring including teams building multi-agentic and LLM-adjacent systems
- US-based requisitions plus roles for a growing international engineering office in Lisbon Portugal
- Hiring Manager calibration and partnership pass-through metric ownership feedback loops and offer management
- Pipeline-building across multiple reqs per skillset the goal is reusable deep talent pools not one-off fills
Qualifications :
- Recent in-seat technical recruiting experience at aperson SaaS company a mix of growth stages preferred
- East Coast availability or genuine flexibility to operate on EC core hours to support team overlap with an international engineering hub
- The ability to read a job description and differentiate between a Principal Backend Engineer and a Staff Engineer without asking the HM to explain it
- Demonstrable sourcing and close experience with backend engineers JVM stack familiarity (Scala / Java) strongly preferred
- Scrappy high-autonomy operating style comfortable in ambiguity without a finished playbook
- AI/ML recruiting experience is a strong differentiator particularly multi-agent or LLM-adjacent system teams
- MarTech developer tooling or data infrastructure sector background is helpful but not required
