About the Role:

The Design/Tech Support role is essential for bridging the gap between creative design and technical functionality. This position involves providing exceptional tech support troubleshooting issues and collaborating closely with design teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical support for design projects addressing software and hardware issues as they arise.
  • Work collaboratively with design teams to enhance project outcomes through effective problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation including user manuals and guidelines.
  • Conduct training sessions for both staff and clients on design software and tools.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and provide customer service regarding technical design issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to introduce innovative ideas to the team.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Design Information Technology or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in design and technical support.
  • Proficient in design software like Adobe Creative Suite and other technical tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer support focused on design tools or applications.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies in a design context.
  • Understanding of web design principles and user experience practices.

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Monitor and respond to technical support requests promptly and effectively.
  • Engage in daily stand-up meetings to discuss ongoing projects and challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design-related technical issues.
  • Document solutions and best practices for future reference.
  • Participate in training and onboarding of new staff and clients regarding technical tools.
