Mechanical Draughtsman

Pretoria-East

Qualifications:

Minimum of professional drafting credentials
2 6 years of drafting experience in the automotive field.
Previous experience in the military vehicle environment would be greatly advantageous.
Onshape and SolidWorks preferred or relevant CAD package.
SolidWorks PDM or relevant PDM system.
Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

Design and Draughting: Execution of design tasks within the parameters and interfaces set by the Chief Designer or Senior Design Engineer

Prepare Solid Models of components sub-assemblies and assemblies using the business file structure guidelines and number protocol
Prepare detailed layout and manufacturing drawings of components and assemblies
Test and Evaluation: assist during the building and testing of prototypes
Project Management
Production support capturing of red-line drawings during the building and prototype phase
