Sustainability Specialist 1
Job Summary
Overview
The Sustainability Specialist 1 supports Cook Medicals Social Impact & Sustainability function by maintaining environmental data supporting disclosures collaborating across functions and contributing to decarbonization and circularity initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collect and validate environmental performance data (energy water waste refrigerants).
- Support Scope 1 & 2 GHG inventory and Scope 3 screening.
- Maintain ISO 14001aligned documentation and audit evidence.
- Assist with CSRD/ESRS GRI CDP disclosures.
- Support energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives.
- Assist on packaging sustainability and EPR data.
- Support supplier ESG data requests.
- Prepare presentations and internal communications.
- Identify workflow and documentation improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Sustainability Environmental Science Engineering Environmental Policy or a related field or equivalent experience preferable.
- Internship or project experience in sustainability or operations preferred.
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to collaborate across functions.
Exposure to ISO 14001 GHG Protocol CSRD/GRI/CDP highly recommended.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI Tableau) advantageous.
