Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable IT Virtual Assistant (IT VA) to provide technical support and assist with managing the companys digital systems and tools. The ideal candidate will help maintain IT operations troubleshoot technical issues support team members with software and system usage and ensure smooth day-to-day technical functionality across the organization.
This role is perfect for someone who is tech-savvy detail-oriented and comfortable working remotely while supporting a distributed team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software hardware and connectivity issues.
- Assist with VPN setup configuration and troubleshooting to ensure secure remote access for team members.
- Manage and maintain cloud-based systems such as Google Workspace Microsoft 365 and other collaboration tools.
- Set up and manage user accounts permissions and security access across company platforms.
- Support website maintenance updates and basic troubleshooting (WordPress or similar CMS).
- Manage email systems domains hosting and DNS settings.
- Assist with setup and troubleshooting of CRM project management and automation tools.
- Monitor systems to ensure data security backups and compliance with IT best practices.
- Provide technical support during virtual meetings webinars and internal system rollouts.
- Maintain IT documentation system guides and troubleshooting procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist IT Assistant or IT Virtual Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems networks and IT troubleshooting.
- Experience with VPN setup configuration and remote access security.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace Microsoft 365 and cloud-based tools.
- Basic knowledge of website management (WordPress or similar CMS).
- Understanding of networking basics DNS hosting and domain management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic coding (HTML CSS or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection.
- Experience supporting remote teams or distributed organizations.
