Senior VP of Program Operations

The Sr. VP of Program Operations is responsible to oversee the operations of the various divisions within the organization. This includes programming that provides direct client care to individuals who are homeless trafficked justice involved as well as those struggling with underlying mental health and substance use disorders. The Sr. VP also maintains community stakeholder relations statewide to include law enforcement funding sources and social service providers. Additionally the Sr. VP works closely with Development and Communications for fundraising marketing and hosting community events.

Scope of Duties:

1. Interact and communicate (verbally and non-verbally) with all clients staff and outside contacts professionally with respect and courtesy.
2. Maintain confidentiality regarding client staff and agency information in compliance with policies and procedures.
3. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings individual supervision trainings and other meetings as requested.
4. Assist VOADV leadership in the development implementation and monitoring of approved goals and objectives for the Safe Return/Navigational programs.
5. Coordinate program and resource development efforts including submission of funding proposals grant applications etc.
6. Assist CFO in oversight of agency fiscal activities as it pertains to program operations.
7. Ensure implementation of evidenced based interventions for all service populations.
8. Develop and maintain positive relationships with funding and regulatory agencies.
9. Develop direct and assess the provision of effective client service including program evaluation and data gathering initiatives across all reentry programs.
10. Develop and maintain positive relationship with community resources including service providers and planning bodies elected officials civic and religious associations.
11. Ensure development and maintenance of Policy and Procedure Manuals for each program.
12. Monitor local state and federal legislation and regulations and respond in an approved manner to issues that have potential impact on the programs and clients.
13. On-going assessment of training needs for all relevant job classifications and identifying resources to meet training needs.
14. Identify and present to the VOADV leadership matters requiring their decision.
15. Ensure optimum performance of program operations. Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity increase efficiencies manage costs and maintain state of the art models of care and evidence-based practices.
16. Develop plan for new areas of technology for the program operations along with sufficient planning for areas that support the mission of the agency with all safe return/navigational services.
17. Maximize staff job performance by coaching counseling mentoring and disciplining employees monitoring and evaluating job performance.
18. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications establishing personal networks participating in professional affiliations.
19. Complete other duties as assigned.
