Job Summary
We areseekinga passionate and collaborative physician educator who is excited to shape future family physicians in a supportive mission-driven environment. The Core Faculty Physician will play a key role in resident education clinical supervision curriculumdevelopment and scholarly position offers a balanced combination of academicresponsibilities and clinical practice within a mission-driven environment that serves a highly diverse population.
Responsibilities
Supervising residents in ambulatory family medicine continuity clinic and hospital-based inpatient care
Participating in curriculum design and evaluation consistent with ACGME Family Medicine ProgramRequirement
Engaging in scholarly activity including educational innovation in didactics research or qualityimprovement
Participating in resident evaluation mentorship residency/hospital committee meetingsand recruitment
Maintaining a continuity clinical practice
Optional: OB labor and delivery services with call
Qualified Candidates:
Must beboard certified ABFM or AOBFM in Family Medicine
Must have or be able to obtain a Florida medical license
Prior teaching experience in both ambulatory and inpatient settings is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
