As a Locum NP or PA you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care managing chronic conditions and promoting overall health within the community. You will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient assessments and treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and manage patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Document patient interactions and care plans accurately
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients and families
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant license
- Experience in Family Medicine preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing healthcare needs
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Patient Volume 20-22 per day
Team Structure: 3 MDs and 4 APPs per day RNs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
