Health Center Administrator
Fulltime onsite role located in Fairfeild California
Position Summary
The Health Center Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a healthcare facility. This role ensures high-quality patient care regulatory compliance operational efficiency and financial performance. The Administrator leads multidisciplinary teams manages budgets and resources and ensures compliance with all federal state and local healthcare regulations while promoting a culture of patient-centered care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee the daily operations of the healthcare center and ensure effective coordination across departments including nursing dietary housekeeping maintenance therapeutic services and social services.
Develop and implement policies procedures and operational strategies that support quality care and operational efficiency.
Ensure adequate staffing levels and appropriate resources are in place to meet patient care needs.
Staff Leadership & Development
Recruit hire and supervise department managers and supervisory staff.
Provide coaching mentoring and performance management to ensure effective leadership across teams.
Support staff development training programs and ongoing professional education.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all federal state and local regulations governing healthcare facilities.
Maintain adherence to licensing requirements healthcare standards and safety regulations.
Participate in quality assurance programs and monitor performance indicators to improve care outcomes.
Financial Oversight
Assist in developing and managing the annual operating and capital budgets.
Monitor financial performance and ensure operations remain within approved budget guidelines.
Oversee purchasing vendor contracts and resource allocation.
Patient & Family Relations
Address patient concerns complaints and service issues in a timely and professional manner.
Foster positive relationships with patients families and community stakeholders.
Ensure patient rights dignity and quality of care are maintained.
Quality & Safety Management
Review incident reports and collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure appropriate interventions.
Maintain safe working and care environments through adherence to safety and infection control standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and operational committees.
Qualifications
Education
Licensure
Experience
Minimum of four years of management or supervisory experience in healthcare administration long-term care or a related clinical environment.
Experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and healthcare operations preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership decision-making and organizational skills.
Knowledge of healthcare operations regulatory compliance and healthcare administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage complex operational and financial responsibilities.
