Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities:- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing or CNA Supervisor the CNAs work closely with the nursing staff to ensure coordination of patient care.
- Provides physical support for patients/resident s daily activities and personal hygiene including bathing dressing grooming transferring to/from bed toileting walking standing or exercising.
- Assists patients with daily medication and supplements.
- Ensures proper resident/patient diet based on their dietary restrictions.
- Examines patients for open wounds bruises or blood in urine.
- Notes and communicates patient/resident behavior and changes in mood.
- Cleans rooms and bed linens.
- Checks and records vital signs including blood pressure pulse temperature and respiration rate under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Answers to patient calls and needs.
Requirement description :
- Minimum 2 years of LTC SNF or Med Surg experience - REQUIRED
- BLS (Must be American Heart Association OR American Red Cross) - REQUIRED
- Covid Vaccine Required - Medical & Religious Exemptions can be accepted on a case-by-case basis- REQUIRED
- Previous travel experience - REQUIRED

- Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date)
- References - highly preferred (if not provided will be required to complete during onboarding if candidate accepts an offer)

Additional Facility Information:
- Agency MUST have an active MI iCHAT account and be authorized to schedule fingerprinting.
- Blocked scheduling cannot be approved. Clinician must be flexible with scheduling.
