Job Summary

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing or CNA Supervisor the CNAs work closely with the nursing staff to ensure coordination of patient care.
Provides physical support for patients/resident s daily activities and personal hygiene including bathing dressing grooming transferring to/from bed toileting walking standing or exercising.
Assists patients with daily medication and supplements.
Ensures proper resident/patient diet based on their dietary restrictions.
Examines patients for open wounds bruises or blood in urine.
Notes and communicates patient/resident behavior and changes in mood.
Cleans rooms and bed linens.
Checks and records vital signs including blood pressure pulse temperature and respiration rate under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Answers to patient calls and needs.

Requirement description :

Minimum 2 years of LTC SNF or Med Surg experience - REQUIRED
BLS (Must be American Heart Association OR American Red Cross) - REQUIRED
Covid Vaccine Required - Medical & Religious Exemptions can be accepted on a case-by-case basis- REQUIRED
Previous travel experience - REQUIRED

Agency MUST have an active MI iCHAT account and be authorized to schedule fingerprinting.
Blocked scheduling cannot be approved. Clinician must be flexible with scheduling.
