About the Team & Business Line:

The OCM Specialist is a key member of the Operational Control Management (OCM) team within the Governance Risk and Policy Management department. This role supports the OCM Assistant Manager and Manager in overseeing the business side of the risk framework including quality assurance reviews andcontrol testing within the Citco Corporate Solutions Division (division). The OCM Specialist contributes to the implementation of risk management policies and procedures.



Responsibilities
  • Operational Risk Management:

    • Show proficiency in using process risk management tools and methodologies

    • Provide support to offices in capturing information in the Risk Management Portal(s) and keeping it up-to-date

    • Assist in monitoring timely handling of due dates in the Risk Management Portal(s) within the OCM function and for local offices

    • MaintainKey Risk Indicators (KRI) inthe Risk Management Portal(s)

    • Assist in maintenance of Risk Management Portal(s) including participation in functionality testing when required

    • Perform other Risk Management Portal(s) related activities as required

    • Prepare reports or assist in preparing more complicated reports on risk items data

    • Assist in organizing and conducting Risk Management Portal(s) and OCM training activities

    • Contribute to risk awareness initiatives in the division and help address control weaknesses identified

    • Assist in monitoring controls and processes surrounding OCM duties

  • Risk and Control Assessment:

    • Contribute to designing Risk Assessments

    • Assist in Risk Assessments updates in the Risk Management Portal(s) including maintenance of documentation

    • Assist in performing Risk Assessments

  • Business Continuity Management (BCM):

    • Create (or assist in creation for more complex cases) and maintain comprehensive BCM documentation and reports

    • Prepare reports on BCM items

    • Assist offices with maintenance of BCM items in the system(s)

  • Control Testing

    • Design and implement control testing frameworks with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness

    • Execute tests with precision and accuracy

    • Produce detailed actionable reports on test outcomes with recommendations

    • Develop automated testing procedures where applicable to enhance efficiency and coverage

  • Quality Assurance and Data Analytics:

    • Assist in the execution of Quality Assurance (QA) reviews

    • Apply data analytics techniques to quality assurance processes

    • Show proficiency in data preparation and manipulation

    • Produce insightful and accurate reports

  • Prepare reports on OCM deliverables for review by the OCM Assistant Manager / Manager

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of internal procedures and documentation

  • Any other job-related duties as may be required by



Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Risk Management Business Studies Finance Economics or related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the financial and/or fiduciary service industry with a focus on risk management quality assurance audit and/or professional accounting

  • Professional certifications such asFinancial Risk Manager (FRM) Professional Risk Manager (PRM) Six Sigma Black Belt Certified Process Risk Manager (CPRM)are advantageous

  • Experience in implementing risk and control frameworks in complex organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in collaboration in a global fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Sound risk-based judgments and root cause analysis
