Job Summary
Customer Support Specialist SaaS $500$750 USD/month Fully Remote
Location: Fully remote you can be based anywhere in the world
Hours: Flexible some overlap with US EST or UK GMT required
Salary: $500$750 USD/month
Contract: Full-time permanent
About the company
Remote World is partnering with a US-based HR and payroll software company to hire for this role. They serve over 10000 SMEs across the US and their support team is a key driver of the customer experience people need their payroll to work and when something goes wrong they need help fast.
The role
Youll be a first-line support agent handling inbound queries via live chat and email answering questions about payroll runs tax filings employee records and integrations. Youll troubleshoot issues guide customers through fixes and escalate anything that needs a product specialist.
What youll do
- Handle inbound support queries via live chat and email
- Guide customers through payroll processing tax settings and account management
- Troubleshoot integration issues with accounting software and time-tracking tools
- Document recurring issues for the knowledge base and product team
- Escalate unresolved issues with full context and troubleshooting history
What youll need
- Excellent written English professional and easy to follow
- Patient and methodical you work through issues step by step
- Reliable customers depend on you being available and responsive
- Comfortable learning software products and explaining them to non-technical users
Nice to have
- Experience in HR payroll or accounting software support
- Familiarity with helpdesk tools (Zendesk Freshdesk or similar)
- Background in HR administration or payroll processing
