The Grab Driver Acquisition and Onboarding Department is responsible for onboarding and recruiting new driver and rider-partners in the platform. This team designs creates and owns the processes to ensure smooth driver/ rider application experience in the driver onboarding journey and ensure that new riders are setup for success. This team is also responsible for attracting and recruiting new drivers to join Grab and MoveIt via leveraging various channels campaigns and avenues to reach potential target audience to join the growing rider base of Grab and MoveIt. You will get a chance to work directly with progressive thinkers with various teams -- operations marketplace marketing departments training safety and driver communities to help shape the drivers early lifecycle journey.
Get to know the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Driver Acquisition Specialist to join our this role you will be responsible for attracting and recruiting new drivers to join Grab. This position requires a combination of sales marketing and customer service skills.
The Driver Acquisition Specialist is a critical part of the Driver Acquisition team as you will plan coordinate and manage the operations of Spot Activations and onboarding in various locations in Metro Manila and Greater Metro Manila.
You will have the opportunity to standardize workflows scale operations and become part of actively growing the rider-base and business of MoveIt.
You will collaborate closely with driver communities agencies and onboarding team to plan and execute these mini-events to ensure smooth end-to-end execution of Spot Activations.
Location of the Assignment:
Able to work in office (Marikina) and willing to go to various Spot Activation sites in Greater Metro Manila several times a week.
The day-to-day activities include:
- Driver Recruitment: Develop and implement strategies to attract and recruit new drivers for Grab and MoveIt. This includes conducting outreach activities attending recruitment events and leveraging social media platforms
- Work closely and efficiently as a team with driver acquisition operations driver communities onboarding teams and marketing colleagues to ensure smooth operations and execution of Spot Activations
- Provide administrative coordination and logistical support pre post and during onground Driver Acquisition and Onboarding events
- Liaise with various vendors agencies partner brands and other internal departments for various projects concerning Spot Activations and Onboarding
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with driver communities and potential drivers addressing their questions or concerns and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Establish and maintain relationships with driver communities to ensure recruitment targets are met in Spot Activations in key priority areas
- Onboarding Support: Assist new drivers with the onboarding process including application completion document submission and orientation
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on recruitment efforts driver retention rates and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Other duties as assigned by the Driver Acquisition and Onboarding leads.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Sales or related field.
- Proven experience in sales marketing recruitment or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet recruitment targets.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms community and people networks for recruitment.
- Proficient in Microsoft/Google productivity tools.
- Must be knowledgeable about transport cars and the automotive and transport industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in speaking writing in both Filipino and English language
- Attention to detail and accuracy. Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills. Proactive and self-starters and has a high degree of personal responsibility. Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Comfortable multi-tasking as a key player on a variety of projects (if necessary.)
- Handle themselves in a pleasant personable manner (in-person phone and email.)
