The Role

As a Senior Account Executive you will proactively engage pitch and sell to PR and communications professionals within the UK mid-market segment. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to drive revenue growth and expand client relationships.

What are we looking for

We are seeking an experienced 360 sales professional to join our Mid-Market team at Cision. You will bring a minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding this role you will be responsible for pitching Cisions full suite of solutions to brand-new prospects within the PR and Communications space.

We are looking for a driven and passionate sales professional motivated by new business development and eager to join an established high-performing sales team selling a market-leading solution.

Duties and Responsibilities

The role includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Position the value of Cisions solutions through inbound and outbound sales methods to mid-market organisations
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyers journey helping them understand the value Cision can bring to their organisation
  • Proactively self-source leads via cold calling outreach and LinkedIn
  • Manage a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to identify engage and develop relationships with potential buyers
  • Meet daily activity KPIs based on outbound sales activity
  • Conduct effective online demonstrations of our services through virtual meetings and occasionally face-to-face meetings
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline (5x your monthly target)
  • Maintain strong communication with the Mid-Market Customer Service Executives to ensure the smooth setup of new business orders
  • Input and maintain accurate activity and opportunity information in Salesforce and Kluster
  • Report on activity and results on a daily weekly and monthly basis

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 3 years experience selling SaaS solutions
  • Experience selling in a B2B environment
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver effective online product presentations and demonstrations
  • Proven track record of outbound sales activity
  • Strong consultative selling and closing skills
