Job Summary

Purpose of Position Implement cloud infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices while contributing to real-world projects in a supportive environment. Support platform and engineering teams while exploring tools and processes critical to modern DevOps workflows with a specialization in AWS Bedrock AgentCore.

Essential Functions

AWS Bedrock AgentCore DevOps Consulting and Implementation
Cloud Infrastructure Support: Assist in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure primarily AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Help implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform AWS CloudFormation and AWS CLI.
CI/CD Pipeline Support: Contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines.
Monitoring Reliability & Troubleshooting: Support the team in monitoring alerting and documenting system health and reliability practices. Participate in troubleshooting and support efforts to maintain uptime and system reliability.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Help improve infrastructure and deployment documentation for better knowledge sharing.
Collaboration & Learning: Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps professionals to understand and assist with day-to-day platform engineering tasks.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field required.
Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Node Java Python Bash or similar through coursework or personal projects required.
Specialization in AWS Bedrock AgentCore with a focus on DevOps
Familiarity with distributed version control systems such as Git required.
Interest in cloud technologies particularly AWS services such as Bedrock AgentCore ECS EC2 and Lambda required.
Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices required.
Awareness of security best practices and compliance standards such as SOC 2 required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team required.
Eagerness to contribute ask questions and hit the ground running with AWS Bedrock AgentCore in a collaborative engineering environment required.
