Minor Hotels Australasia is looking for a Paralegal to join our Brisbane City Head Office working closely with our in-house Legal team.
This position plays a key role in supporting both the Legal and Property teams with a strong focus on conveyancing lease administration and property-related contractual matters.
Reporting to the General Counsel and Company Secretary this role offers exposure to legal matters across our global hospitality and property portfolio. You will support the Legal team in delivering efficient and effective legal services to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support the end-to-end conveyancing process for the sale of Minor-owned apartments across Australia
- Prepare contracts for sale and vendor disclosure documentation in accordance with relevant legislation
- Coordinate searches certificates supporting documentation and settlement processes
- Liaise with real estate agents external lawyers and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Track transaction milestones including exchange conditions precedent and settlement
- Manage lease administration including renewals variations extensions and option exercise notices
- Monitor material contract dates including rent reviews expiry dates and Management Rights agreements
- Maintain accurate contract registers legal records and governance documentation within LawVu
- Support the Legal team with contract management compliance requirements and legal documentation
- Assist with the improvement of legal systems processes and workflows across the Legal function

- 100% in office role located in Brisbane CBD
Qualifications :
To be successful you will require the following experience:
- Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant ideally within property conveyancing or commercial law within Australia.
- Tertiary qualification in Law Legal Studies or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting property transactions leases or contract administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong systems capability
