Job Summary
Are you a second-year or above student with a passion for technology and innovation Clayton Utz is seeking expressions of interest from motivated students for casual paralegal opportunities in our Data Intelligence & Risk Advisory practice group.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a top-tier law firm while working on cutting-edge matters in a dynamic team environment. You will develop your skills alongside some of the best lawyers and technologists in the industry contributing to projects that intersect all practice areas at the firm.
What are we looking for
To be successful in securing a paralegal position you will:
- Be currently studying a Law degree. Double degrees or skillsetsthatrelate to one of the following areas are highly desirable:
- Computer Science and Technology including Artificial Intelligence
- Data Analytics
- Forensic Technology and Cybersecurity
- Emerging and Interdisciplinary Fields
- Be in at least yoursecond yearof studies.
- Have astrong academic record.
- Be available to work a minimum of3 days per weekthroughout the year.
- Previous work experience in any field (paid or unpaid) is highly regarded.
- Previous paralegal or legal experience is also highly regarded but not essential.
In addition we are looking for candidates who are proactive have strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and thrive in a team environment. There is potential for proficient and interested individuals to progress towards other opportunities within our Data Intelligence practice.
