As a Privacy Officer you will play an essential role in safeguarding GoodHabitzs privacy and data protection standards. You will work closely with colleagues across Europe advising the business on privacy security and AI-related matters while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations such as the GDPR and the AI Act.
You will join the Legal Risk & Compliance team where collaboration and knowledge-sharing are key. Together you will help the organization stay compliant while enabling innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on privacy security and AI compliance across the organization.
- Manage incoming privacy-related questions from internal teams prospects and clients.
- Identify assess and mitigate privacy and security risks including handling potential data breaches.
- Support and maintain our ISO27001 certification and contribute to future certifications and compliance frameworks.
- Participate in cross-functional projects ensuring privacy-by-design principles are implemented.
- Increase privacy and AI awareness across the organization through guidance documentation and communication.
- Collaborate closely with teams such as Sales Product IT and Customer Success to support business initiatives in a compliant way.
- Contribute to the continuous development of policies procedures and governance frameworks.
Requirements- University degree in Law.
- Experience in privacy law particularly GDPR and the AI Act.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English both spoken and written.
- Experience working in an international corporate environment.
- Affinity with IT systems and digital services.
- Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to translate complex legal topics into practical advice.
- An approachable proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to collaborate across teams while taking ownership of responsibilities
Nice to have
- Experience with ISO certifications or management systems.
- Experience with compliance frameworks or risk management.
- Additional privacy certifications such as CIPP/E or similar.
