About General Manager Office (EU)

We are in charge of the office maintenance administration and daily operation of our office in the Netherlands also providing guidance and support to our branch offices all over Europe. With the rapid growth of our business we are planning to increase our scale in personnel and spaces. Our target is to provide a good working as well as living environment to our colleagues and branch offices. We are in search of talents that would like to support our colleagues in this dynamic electric journey.

About the role:

Office coordinator is responsible for overseeing the management maintenance and optimization of all the physical assets and office facilities. Key responsibilities include inventory management tracking assets lifecycle and coordinating with procurement and finance department. You also develop policies for asset utilization manage budgets related and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

This position will be based in Hoofddorp Netherlands. But your responsibilities will include the assets and facilities in all European countries wherever BYD has an office or organization there.

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Policy Development: Create and implement policies for asset utilization storage and disposal to maximize effectiveness and adhere to compliance standards.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets related to office assets ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with organizational policies.

  • Asset Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all office assets including furniture equipment IT hardware and supplies.

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Track the lifecycle of assets from acquisition to disposal. Plan for maintenance upgrades and timely replacement.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports on asset status maintenance activities and budget utilization for senior management.

  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with IT HR Finance and Procurement teams to support organizational goals related to office management.

  • Fleet asset management coordinate the fleet management

  • Fulfill other tasks assigned by the manager supporting team members whenever necessary.

Profile:
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in a fast paced and multicultural environment;

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English language or Chinese native speaker with good command in English.

  • Excellent (business) telephone and e-mail skills.

  • Service minded in person and when handling requests via phone or e-mail;

  • Excellent communication and organization skills;

  • Able to multi-task and perform under pressure able to prioritize tasks under strict deadlines;

  • Proficiency with MS Office and Teams.

  • Proactive and positive attitude towards problem solving.

  • Knowledge of Chinese and cross cultural communication is highly desirable.
