Job Summary
Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) PRN
Location: Flagstaff AZ 86004
Job Type: Contract PRN / As Needed
Shift: Day 6:00 AM 6:30 PM (12.5 Hours)
Schedule: As Needed Hours Not Guaranteed
Job Overview:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care to residents in a long-term care setting. The role involves assisting with daily living activities monitoring resident conditions maintaining accurate documentation and supporting nursing staff to ensure safe compassionate and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing grooming toileting eating and mobility
Support resident transfers ambulation positioning and meal assistance
Monitor and report changes in residents physical or mental condition
Measure and record vital signs including temperature pulse and respiration
Collect and label specimens (urine sputum stool) as required
Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided
Maintain a clean safe and sanitary resident environment including changing linens
Assist with resident transportation basic clerical tasks and support nursing staff during emergencies
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification required
Knowledge of basic patient care practices and medical equipment
Strong communication documentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a safe and supportive care environment
