Ko tōu ake mahi - What youll do

The Fund Administrator plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of the Ministrys Research and Evaluation Fund and associated research contracts. Providing highquality administrative and operational support this role ensures core processes systems and financial controls and ongoing evaluation run smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with managers teams and external stakeholders the Fund Administrator helps enable timely accurate and wellgoverned investment in research and evaluation that supports the Ministrys functions and priorities.

  • Administer the daytoday operation of the Research and Evaluation Fund in line with policies delegations and financial controls.
  • Maintain accurate records of funding allocations approvals contracts expenditure and payments using the Fund tracker.
  • Monitor alongside Finance fund balances and identify risks or issues escalating them to the Manager as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings communications and information requests to support effective fund and contract management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes systems and ways of working across the Group.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong administrative capability supporting complex programmes of work
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and perform under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills with discretion and professionalism
  • Confidence working with financial data and information is an advantage
