Job Summary
Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license. 2 Yr Exp UNIT DOES NOT ACCEPT FIRST TIME TRAVELER Floating required to like units - travelers must be flexible to floating Every other weekend required Experience: Must have surgical tele experience open heart surgery and vascular ( groin)radial band management IV skills NIH 2-3 years telemetry experience; optional- VAD TAVR experience) Certs Required: ACLS BLS NIHSS Surgical Cardiac Telemetry Unit myocardial infarction rule out MI Primary arrhythmias pre/post open-heart surgery patients vascular surgery patients coronary artery disease heart failure pre/post cath lab with or without interventions stroke patients with cardiac involvement; specialized structural heart support ( VAD TVAR etc) NOTE: N:P ratio is 1:4 across the board (can be 5 at midnight) Breathing Treatments Chest Tube Set-up/Care CPAP/BiPap Trach Care Blood/Blood Products Administration Cardioversion / Defibrillation Epicardial Pacer Management LVAD Open Heart 24-28 hours Post-Op Tele Interpretation - Dysrhythmia Interpretation and management
