We are seeking a results-driven Head Alternate Distribution who will be responsible for developing and managing strategies and partnerships that expand the companys market reach promote revenue growth and build strong business relationships with banks and other distribution partners.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Expand market share through innovative products and strategic partnerships.
Develop and implement a strategic plan for alternate distribution channels aligning with the companys overall business objectives.
Identify emerging trends customer needs and market opportunities to expand distribution beyond traditional agencies and retail channels.
Partnership Development and Management
Identify establish and maintain relationships with distribution partners including banks microfinance institutions telecoms online platforms and affinity groups.
Negotiate partnership agreements focusing on terms that promote mutual growth and align with the organizations objectives.
Maintain ongoing relationships with partners ensuring high levels of service engagement and satisfaction.
Product & Sales Support
Develop value propositions tailored to partner and customer segments.
Support partners with training tools and resources to effectively sell insurance products.
Work with marketing to design campaigns and initiatives that drive channel performance.
Performance Monitoring Reporting & Customer Experience
Track and analyze the performance of alternate distribution channels identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions.
Ensure a seamless customer-centric experience across all Alternative channels enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.
Technical Expertise: Bancassurance Experience Excellent negotiation skills claims management sales and partnership management and regulatory compliance.
Leadership Skills: Strategic thinking people development and coaching and decision-making agility.
Personal Attributes: High integrity adaptability critical thinking and effective communication and influence.
Academic & Professional Qualification
Bachelors degree in business Finance Insurance or a related field; MBA preferred.
Professional certification (e.g. ACII CIM).
Minimum of 10 years experience as a leader in Distribution Management and Development in General Insurance banking financial services with 5 years in a Senior Management role.
