Set a clear vision for curriculum and assessment that integrates Islamic values across subjects and upholds Ghana Education Service requirements.
Ensure high quality Islamic Studies provision with effective planning schemes of work and classroom routines.
Monitor teaching quality through observations and reviews of student work and results. Coach teachers and follow up with targeted support plans.
Put in place timely support for students who are behind and meaningful stretch for those who are ahead.
Promote clubs and activities that develop faith character service and leadership. 2) People and culture
Uphold high expectations for punctuality attendance dress and conduct for staff and students consistent with Islamic guidelines for modesty and respect.

Protect time and space for daily prayers and Friday congregational prayers with appropriate supervision and organization.
Plan the school calendar and daily routines with consideration for Ramadan Islamic holidays and key community events.
Encourage community service and charitable initiatives that nurture compassion and social responsibility.
Ensure adherence to Ghana Islamic Society for Education and Reformation policies Ghana Education Service regulations and external examination requirements.
Oversee timetabling examinations records and reporting for the secondary school.
Work with administration on budgets procurement discipline stock management and audits. Practice value for money purchasing with full documentation including appropriate guidelines for halal and ethical sourcing where relevant. 6) Stakeholder engagement
Communicate regularly and respectfully with parents mosque and community leaders and partners.
Represent the school professionally in inspections and external forums and build trust through transparent timely communication. Measures of success
Student achievement: termly targets met in core subjects. Improvement in Basic Education Certificate Examination and West African Senior School Certificate Examination results year on year.
Teaching quality: at least eighty percent of lessons rated effective or better by the second term. Every teacher receives observation and feedback each term.
Attendance and punctuality: students at least ninety five percent. staff at least ninety seven percent.
Behavior and safety: reduction in serious incidents. safeguarding cases handled on time with complete logs.
Parent and community satisfaction: at least eighty five percent positive in surveys. response to concerns within forty-eight hours.
Operational compliance: no major audit findings. all submissions to the Ghana Education Service and the Ghana Islamic Society for Education and Reformation are on time.
Preferred
Doctorate in Education or additional postgraduate qualifications in school leadership curriculum or assessment.
Experience as a head of school or deputy head in an Islamic or faith-based setting.
Familiarity with school improvement planning data systems and external inspections.
Knowledge of Arabic or experience supervising Arabic language departments are an advantage not a requirement.
Instructional leadership and teacher coaching.
Clear compassionate communication with parents staff students and community leaders.
Confidence with data to set goals monitor progress and act.
Organized calm under pressure and solutions oriented.

Masters degree in Education or a closely related field.
At least ten years of successful teaching at secondary level including three to five years in a substantive leadership role such as head deputy or head of department.
Strong knowledge of Ghanas curriculum (GES) and assessment practices.
Proven record improving results strengthening teaching and building a value driven team culture.
Personal commitment to Islamic values and ability to model them in daily school life.
