A well-established property company is looking for an experienced Property Accountant with strong financial and administrative skills to manage debtor processes reconciliations and financial reporting within a growing property portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Manage debtor administration and processing of tenant accounts.
Monitor and report on collections of all debtor accounts.
Allocate unidentified receipts to the correct tenant accounts.
Ensure invoices and statements are issued to tenants accurately and on time.
Handle internal and external tenant queries including reconciliations where required.
Review bank reconciliations and cashbooks and report on balances.
Assist with month-end processes balance sheet reconciliations and audit preparation.
Support billing processes and perform monthly financial analysis to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Requirements:
Proven experience in property finance or property accounting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and property management software such as MDA or MRI.
Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport.
Clean ITC and criminal record with strong references.
Strong numerical ability attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
