About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing organisation based in Century City Cape Town is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with 12 years of post-articles experience to join their finance team.This role offers excellent exposure to financial reporting business partnering budgeting forecasting and strategic finance initiatives within a fast-paced and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
- Assist with financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights to management.
- Manage and improve internal controls and financial processes.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS tax and regulatory requirements.
- Support various finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified CA(SA).
- 12 years post-articles experience.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in commercial finance environments will be advantageous.
